A microbiologist by training, he brings more than three decades of executive and entrepreneurial experience in life sciences, laboratory technologies, and international business. Throughout his career, he has led the growth of technology-driven businesses, built international partnerships, and supported the translation of scientific innovation into commercial solutions. At MPPI, he leads corporate strategy, commercialization, and global business development, driving the company’s growth from molecular innovation to market-ready agricultural technologies.

Umut Toprak

  • Umut Toprak serves as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Molecular Plant Protection Industries (MPPI). An internationally recognized molecular entomologist and Professor at Ankara University, he leads the company's scientific vision across RNA, protein, and microbial technologies. His work focuses on transforming advanced biological research into next-generation solutions for sustainable agriculture and public health.

  • Gökhan Söylemezoğlu serves as Chief Regulatory Affairs & Compliance Officer at Molecular Plant Protection Industries (MPPI). A Professor at Ankara University, he brings extensive experience in agricultural science, institutional governance, accreditation, quality systems, and regulatory compliance. He has served in senior academic and national advisory roles and acts as a technical expert and auditor in accreditation processes. At MPPI, he guides regulatory strategy, compliance, product registration, and market access.

  • A Business Administration graduate from Uludağ University, Hüseyin Karslıoğlu  became one of Türkiye’s youngest Certified Public Accountants (Sworn-in CPAs) in 2007.

    With extensive experience in business advisory, innovation, and R&D, he is dedicated to supporting the sustainable growth of technology-driven businesses. He works closely with government, industry, academia, and the private sector to strengthen innovation ecosystems and advance R&D and value-added production.
